The All-New AI-Enabled HubMeta is Coming — August 22
A faster, smarter way to do systematic reviews and meta-analyses — powered by AI, launching August 22
Hi fellow HubMeta users!
Hadi and Piers here! You’re receiving this because you have kindly been a fellow HubMeta user or connected with us through one of our events. We are truly lucky to have you with us.
Eight years ago, we set out to build a simple platform for our own meta-analysis projects—a tool designed to address immediate research needs. That small initiative sparked a major movement. Today, that platform, hubmeta.com has evolved into a vibrant community of over 6,500 researchers, powering thousands of research projects, more than 100 publications, and millions of data points. We couldn’t be prouder of how far we have come together.
Today, we’re announcing something we have been building for years: the all-new, fully AI-enabled HubMeta platform — launching August 22 in Closed Beta. We are more than exited to show you all the amzing things the new platform can do for your research!

A New Era for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis
Our Closed Beta starts August 22 with up to 200 invite-only testers. Over the coming months, we will refine the platform, open it to all our exiting 6,500+ members, and prepare for a full public launch in 2026.
The new HubMeta is built on a 4P pipeline: Pull (smart imports and data cleaning), Pick (AI-assisted screening and eligibility checks), Prep (structured coding and data extraction), and Push (reproducible outputs and analyses). Four phases. Four modules each. One seamless, fully AI-enabled workflow, built for academics who need speed and methodological control.
💡 Launch Event: We’ll demo the new platform, walk you through data transfer from HubMeta Legacy, and show how to get started. Tune in Aug 22 on YouTube Here.
Our newsletter: The HubMeta Research Digest
We used to share interesting articles, new methods, nice to reads, and more within a small community of colleagues. So we taught, why not share it more broadly in a concise newsletter to our fellow Hubmetans? This newsletter will keep you updated semi-monthly with new tools and techniques about systematic reviews, meta-analysis, AI-enabled research, and opportunities to get involved.
What happens to data and projects on legacy platform?
All your existing data is safe — we use the platform ourselves for 20+ active projects, so we take data integrity seriously. The legacy platform is still accessible at dashboard.hubmeta.com . While you won’t be able to start new projects on the Legacy platform, you can export your data and bring it into the new HubMeta. We’ll keep Legacy online for transfers until January 1, 2026. After that, it will be sunset, but we’ll store multiple secure copies of the data. Please export your projects before that date, as retrieval may be difficult afterward.
